Music can make me long for the past, fall in love, calm my anxiety, think about better days or just forget about everything for a moment. When I take portraits of musicians, I try to print what their music makes me feel in each photo. Sometimes using Polaroids which can be very unpredictable, especially when I use expired cartridges or play with long speeds. I do the same when I take portraits of people close to me. Each person has their song, their feeling. Faces are blurred, they can be lost, or they may simply not come out. Errors that become a very loyal portrait of what those people are to me, what they represent, what they make me feel.
